About Assistro

Assistro is the brand behind SyncMate, a no-code tool that connects WhatsApp to the CRM, store and automation tools a team already uses. Assistro is a brand of SodaInMind Pte Ltd, a Singapore company and Meta Tech Partner.

What does SyncMate do?

SyncMate lets apps such as HubSpot, Shopify, WooCommerce, Zapier, Make and n8n send automated, personalised WhatsApp messages, with no code. You can browse every supported app on the integrations page. SyncMate is also listed on the HubSpot App Marketplace, Shopify App Store, WordPress.org, Zapier and the Chrome Web Store.

It connects in two ways. The official WhatsApp Cloud API is built for automation. Your own number linked by QR code is quick to start, but it isn't the official API and it carries account risk. We explain the trade-offs in our guide to both routes.

Assistro, SyncMate and WAPush: what's the difference?

They're the same company and product line. SodaInMind Pte Ltd is the company, Assistro is its brand, and SyncMate is the product. WAPush and WAPushPlus are earlier names for the product. SyncMate by Assistro isn't related to the Mac file-sync app that's also called SyncMate.

How do we write about WhatsApp?

• Primary sources. We cite Meta's and WhatsApp's own documents for pricing, policy and limits, with the date we checked them.
• Clear routes. We say whether we mean your own number or the official Cloud API, and we don't describe the own-number route as official.
• Disclosure. SyncMate is our own product, and we say so when we compare it with other tools.
• Corrections. If something's wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
